The initial phases of the project began in the studio at my drafting table. Sprinkled in were calls, emails and meetings with building committee and design team. Being in a remote natural setting is a real inspiration. That's the tip of the second floor roof peaking out in the lower left. Everything beyond is part of the Nature Conservancy's Davis Mountains Preserve. The downstairs houses my design studio, two large fabrication areas, my office and library.
