Clear Waters
4.0' w. by 24.0' h.

The flowing clear waters in First Baptist Church’s logo are seen as cool, refreshing spiritual waters cascading down between borders with wisps of traditional Gothic tracery. This window adds interest, but is not the central focus of worship. Pond-like ripples radiate outward toward the altar and draw attention back in its direction. These ripples symbolize God’s light along our worldly paths and our growing understanding of his love and never-failing presence among us.

The rich glass palette projects color into the chapel on sunny days and glows warmly on overcast days. Its lead-crystal prisms and clear glass lenses represent God’s gifts, projecting colorful rainbows on sunny days. A circle represents Christ descending among is as God’s perfect gift and sacrifice.

Materials: German and French mouthblown glass, Domestic rolled glass, lead-crystal prisms, lenses, lead and solder.
